During his carrier from 1943 to 1961 he also remained teaching architecture at Sir JJ college of Architecture in Mumbai.

The Jinnah Mausoleum is made of white marble looking very beautiful and charming as it is curved with Moorish arches. A 54 square meter elevated platform has been built to reset copper grills. The Mausoleum is surrounded by a 53 hectare public park. If we talk about the building size, it is 75x75 meter on ground. The building height is 43 meter from its platform. Further the platform is also elevated 4 meter from ground.
The Mausoleum has four entrances made in each wall. Further every entrance has 03 partitioned doors. The Mausoleum Park is surrounded with iron grill at its boundary and have 05 Gates called Bab-e-Jinnah, Bab-e-Iman, Bab-e-Tanzeem, Bab-e-Quaideen and a public entrance known as Numaish Gate. In front of Bab-e-Jinnah 15 successive fountains present a lovely scene leading to the platform. Terraced avenues lead to four gates Bab-e-Jinnah, Iman, Tanzeem and Quaideen.
